Viticulture for generations

For almost 400 years Grans-Fassian winery
is in possession of the Grans Family.

Gerhard Grans took over the winery from his father Matthias in 1982. Since then he extended the 10 acres sized vineyards up to currently 32 acres.

Catherina, the youngest daughter of Gerhard is running the winery with her father for three years now.

She is overtaking the winery in the 13th generation. Her studies in Geisenheim with the graduation as Bachelor of Science in Viticulture and Enology has been supplemented with a European Master of Science in Viticulture and Oenology.
